A collection of images taken in Cheyenne, Wyoming in September.
While visiting my mom in Denver, we decided to take a road trip to the nearest city in Wyoming to see Wyoming for the first time!
Cheyenne, which is the capital of Wyoming, is only around an hour and a half from Denver by car. And if you’re visiting by car from Denver like us, make sure to stop by the Welcome to Wyoming Sign for a photo when you cross the Colorado/Wyoming state border.
The main attraction for us here was the “Cheyenne Big Boots” tour downtown. We headed to the Visit Cheyenne Tourist booth inside the Depot to pick up a “These boots are made for talking” map that shows the locations of the boots around downtown. You can avoid visiting the tourist office by using the online PDF copy of their map here.
If you’re in town and need a midday coffee, check out Paramount Cafe! I had a good seasonal latte there.
Each photo was taken using my lightweight Sony camera. You can check out a complete list of my current travel photography gear here.
